Spring Break
Dear Readers, Graduation night has come and gone, which means it is time for me to say my final farewell. I can honestly say that I have enjoyed my time here as a student and the editor of the theonlineexpress.com. Although I will leave here saddened from my separation from UW-Richland, I am excited to face my next challenge at UW-Eau Claire.
Last Thursday, the UW-Richland Student Senate hosted an outdoor movie night with an attendance of about thirty people. The outdoor movie night has been attempted before, but due to the weather, it was forced to move inside. "I think it went really well," said Student Senate President, Stephanie McCarthy.
This is my last Econoblog for the year. I hope I have shed some light on the most important issue of our day. Contrary to what the media pundits are saying, the financial crisis is far from being over. In fact, I expect it to get much worse. But the one thing I have failed to do through this series is to provide the solution.
Brad Yager, a sophomore at UW-Richland, won the eminent Nicholas Scholarship. "It is very gratifying to win such a prestigious award after working so hard to achieve my goals," said Yager. Yager's journey began in Mineral Point where he grew up on a farm.
